Here's a short video of the installation during Berlins DesignMai (Click image)

It has been brought to my attention that 'Attracted to Light 04/05' bares a conceptual similarity to the Swedish design group Front product 'Fly lamp'. The below article has a comment that I felt I should respond to.

I have the greatest amount of respect for their work, in particular their recent Sketch Furniture project.

The Long Exposure series, the stable that Attracted to Light sits within, reflects the continual sinuous passage within time and space contextualized through ‘motion engenders form’. Through synthesizing the temporal processes of movement, 'Attracted' and the prior 'Flight' sculptures reconstruct pure sensation in objective terms. My work examines the purity of motion.

Also 'Attracted to Light' was created as a sculpture rather than a functional lamp. The light source, as I refer to it, contextualizes the form.
