NYC...

I'm currently on a train between Edinburgh and Newcastle heading towards London getting rather annoyed at the speed of the National Express 'free' WiFi.

The point of this journey is that tomorrow I will be flying to New York from Heathrow to visit MOMA and also Scope. I've documented the 'Design and the Elastic Mind' exhibition enough so I will focus on Scope NY for this post. Truthfully, until Tuesday, I never knew I was even part of this contemporary art fair until Project 4 from Washington emailed me. They will be showing Shine.

I have also started work on the Arts and Business Scotland commission. I have been asked to create 17 awards for their annual ceremony in October. The work I will provide I feel should work as an installation when complete and also as a singular piece. The ceremony this year is being held at Aberdeen Music Hall so in keeping with the geographical location, the proposed ideas are focusing on the resource of the North Sea.

On a final note the image above was emailed to me by a colleague Sue Fairburn. At the end of the day nature will always be one step ahead.
